Dating a women is almost an art form these days. There's so much information available on how to succeed at dating, that most women expect a lot from their men. Fortunately, it's probably not nearly as hard as you think to start dating a women and really impressing her.
The first rule of dating is to treat her with respect. This should go without saying. But some men don't seem to know what respect really means. And in all fairness, the idea of respect can vary widely from woman to woman.
But if you decide to be polite, listen to her opinions and act as if her opinions have value, you're well on your way to being respectful. Opening doors for her and gestures like that are sweet and respectful and will definitely get her attention.
Also, when it comes to sex, respect is very important. Rushing this before she is ready is a mistake many men make when dating a women. Some men think that because they paid for dinner and movie that sex is the required payback. That's definitely not respect.
It's true that today, fewer people wait for the third, fourth or tenth date to have sex. But that doesn't mean that your date is going to want to be sexual with you after the first date. If you go to kiss her goodnight and make a move at the same time, that may be seen as disrespectful to her.
It can be difficult to know when to attempt that kind of romance. You might feel that if you don't, she won't think you're attracted to her. But if you try and she's not ready, she might feel disrespected. Let her take the lead if you can. If many dates go by with little more than a kiss goodnight, she might be waiting on you to make that first move.
The important thing is to tread cautiously and that will show her that you respect her. When you're dating a women, also show that you respect her decisions. But that doesn't mean to let her make them all and possibly walk all over you.
Doing things she wants to do will make her happy. But she should respect you enough that you also get to do things you want to do. If she insists that everything must be her decision no matter what you want, you may not be dating the right woman for you.
Respect is a two-way street, so you need to be sure she treats you with the same respect you give her. If you're polite and you listen carefully to her, she should do the same for you. If you can find a relationship with this kind of give and take, you've found a good dating match.
When you're trying to find that match, just be as respectful as possible. She'll let you know when she's ready for the next step, if you pay attention. And paying attention is something you must do carefully when dating a women.
